The Apple T2 Security Chip is the second generation of Apple’s ibridge technology. It offers various security features for your Mac, such as secure boot and encrypted storage, improved image signal processing, and Touch ID protection. Although many Macs are equipped with the T2 chip, they may still have iCloud activation lock, but now it can be unlocked using two new software programs.

The T2 Chip on Mac computers can be unlocked using two new software programs: iRa1n 3.0 and Mina T2 Activation. Both programs utilize the same ramdisk checkm8 exploit and are developed by the creator of the iremovalpro windows software. Although not free, these programs offer a cost-effective solution to unlock a T2-secured Mac and restore it to full working condition.

Steps to Unlock the T2 Chip:

For Mac tutorial:

• Install the latest bridgeOS using Configurator.
• Enter recovery mode, but do not connect to Wi-Fi or make any other changes. Put the device in DFU mode and use T2 RAMDISK Activation Tool connected to another Mac via USB or USB-C.
• Activate the device.

For Windows T2 Activator:

• Check your device’s compatibility with iRa1n v3.0 (only supports iBridge 7. x).
• Put your device into internet recovery mode and then DFU mode. Connect the locked Mac to a Windows PC via USB or USB-C.
• Run the tool and activation is complete.
